The measure forms part of the special rail service reinforcement plan activated during the Christmas period Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca (SFM) will reinforce the Palma–Inca train service next Monday, 5 January, on the occasion of the Three Kings Parade in Palma. This additional service complements the special rail operations introduced since the end of November, before and throughout the Christmas period, as well as the overnight services provided on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca (SFM), the public rail operator under the Regional Ministry of Housing, Territory and Mobility of the Government of the Balearic Islands, is significantly strengthening its passenger assistance and information service through a new contract, already awarded, for the 2026–2030 period.

Registered residents will be able to visit the museum for a symbolic fee of €1 Residents of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar will be able to visit the Mallorca Railway Museum for a symbolic fee of €1, following an agreement between the local council and Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca (SFM), the project’s main promoter.

From Monday 17 November, we are introducing new service timetables with the aim of adjusting timetables to current service conditions and improving the punctuality, reliability and overall quality of public transport by train and underground. In turn, the Mallorca Transport Consortium (TIB) is adapting the TIB shuttle bus timetables to the new train timetables from Monday 17th, in order to optimise transfers for TIB network users to train stations.
