Archive of Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca
The preservation of our history is part of our commitment to social responsibility, transparency and the protection of cultural heritage. Our corporate archive preserves the historical documentation generated by the Mallorca Railway Company, as well as that corresponding to the period in which the railway operation became managed by the State through the Spanish Railways of Via Estrecha (FEVE) and, subsequently, by Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca (SFM). This documentary fund preserves a legacy of Incalculable value for the memory of the organization and for the knowledge of the evolution of the railway and the Mallorcan society.
We are currently promoting the recovery of documentation, photographs and other historical materials, along with a process of organization, digitization and computerization of documentary funds, prioritizing those of greater value and consultation. This project guarantees the preservation of information, improves its accessibility and advances towards an archive that is increasingly open to knowledge, research and citizenship.
