SFM to Operate Special Night Train Services on Friday Night for the Rels B Concert in Palma

Seven special services will operate on the Palma–Manacor and Palma–Sa Pobla lines, along with an Inca–Palma train, connecting with the first regular services on Saturday

The service plan will facilitate travel both for concertgoers and for people travelling to Palma for other reasons

Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca (SFM) will operate special train services throughout the night from Friday, September 11, into Saturday, September 12, on the occasion of the free Rels B concert at Parc de la Mar in Palma and in anticipation of increased mobility in the city.

The performance by the Mallorcan artist will begin at 9:30 p.m. and is part of the programme of events for Mallorca Day, organised by the Consell de Mallorca. The rail service will be available to all passengers, both concertgoers and people travelling to Palma for other reasons who wish to use public transport.

SFM has scheduled seven special night services on the Palma–Manacor and Palma–Sa Pobla lines, in both directions. These will be complemented by an additional service between Inca and Palma. All special trains will stop at every intermediate station.

From Palma Intermodal Station, special trains to Sa Pobla will depart at 12:40 a.m. and 3:20 a.m. Trains to Manacor will depart at 1:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.

In the opposite direction, a train from Sa Pobla to Palma will depart at 1:50 a.m., while trains from Manacor will depart at 11:35 p.m. and 2:25 a.m.

The special Inca–Palma service is scheduled for 11:30 p.m.

These services will maintain rail connections throughout the early hours until the start of regular Saturday services. This will provide passengers with an alternative to private vehicles for their night-time journeys.

With this initiative, SFM is responding to the expected increase in mobility in Palma and promoting public transport as a safe, convenient and sustainable option.
