SFM to Operate Night Trains and Reinforce Services for the Festivities of Mare de Déu de la Salut, Patron Saint of Palma

Special services will operate this Saturday, September 5, in addition to the night trains scheduled for Friday, September 4, for the Lloseta festivities

Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca (SFM) will reinforce its railway service this Saturday, September 5, on the occasion of the festivities of Mare de Déu de la Salut, Patron Saint of Palma. Additional services will operate in the afternoon, as well as night trains, to facilitate travel safely and conveniently for the large Patron Saint concert at Parc de la Mar, which will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

The special service will complement the night trains scheduled for the early hours of Friday, September 4, into Saturday, September 5, for the Lloseta patron saint festivities, as announced by SFM last week. In this way, SFM will provide night services throughout the entire weekend on all routes along the railway corridor.

Additional services on Saturday afternoon

This Saturday, September 5, twelve additional services will operate between Palma and Inca, six in each direction, in addition to the regular weekend service.

Additional trains from Inca to Palma will operate between 5:43 p.m. and 8:13 p.m. In the opposite direction, departures from Palma will be between 4:55 p.m. and 7:25 p.m.

Night trains from Saturday into Sunday

During the early hours of Saturday, September 5, into Sunday, September 6, SFM will operate fourteen special services on all routes and in both directions.

On the Palma–Manacor line, departures from Palma Intermodal Station will be at 12:15 a.m., 2:15 a.m. and 4:15 a.m., while trains from Manacor will depart at 11:30 p.m., 1:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m.

On the Palma–Sa Pobla line, trains will depart from Intermodal Station at 11:25 p.m. and 3:15 a.m., while departures from Sa Pobla will be at 12:04 a.m., 2:45 a.m. and 4:45 a.m.

In addition, a Palma–Inca service will operate at 11:00 p.m., followed by an Inca–Palma service at 11:48 p.m.

Night services for the Lloseta festivities

During the early hours of Friday, September 4, into Saturday, September 5, passengers will have a total of twelve night trains.

On the Palma–Manacor line, departures from Palma Intermodal Station will be at 12:15 a.m., 2:15 a.m. and 4:15 a.m., while trains from Manacor will depart at 11:30 p.m., 1:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m.

On the Palma–Sa Pobla line, departures from Palma will be at 11:15 p.m., 1:15 a.m. and 3:15 a.m., while departures from Sa Pobla will be at 12:45 a.m., 2:45 a.m. and 4:45 a.m.

All special trains will stop at every intermediate station between the departure and destination points.

With this service plan, the Government of the Balearic Islands reaffirms its commitment to providing night-time rail transport during festivals, celebrations and major public events in municipalities along the railway corridor, offering a safe, convenient and sustainable alternative to private vehicles.
