SFM to Offer Special Night Services to Facilitate Attendance at the Music Festival “The Summer of Your Life” in Inca on August 15

The special operation will connect Palma and Inca throughout the night with the aim of promoting safer, more convenient, and more sustainable mobility during the festival.

Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca (SFM) will launch a special train service for the music festival “The Summer of Your Life,” which will take place on August 15 at the General Luque Barracks in Inca. SFM will provide special train services throughout the night between Palma’s Intermodal Station and Inca, in both directions, to facilitate travel for festival attendees.

In collaboration with the Inca Town Council and the festival organizers, the initiative aims to encourage the use of public transport and provide a safe, comfortable, and sustainable alternative to private vehicles. This special service will expand the regular train schedule during the early hours of the morning and ensure continuous connections between Palma and Inca during and after the concerts.

With this enhanced train service, users holding a Tarjeta Única or Tarjeta Intermodal will be able to travel to the venue free of charge without needing to use a car. This will help reduce parking problems, traffic congestion, and the risks associated with nighttime road travel.

The festival presentation event, which will bring together artists and bands linked to pop music from different decades, was held in Inca with the participation of the mayor, Virgilio Moreno, the organizers of the event, and SFM General Manager José Ramón Orta. The line-up includes performances by David Bustamante, Rosa López, La Caja de Pandora, Jaume Colombàs, Horris Kamoi, and Diabéticas Aceleradas, among others.

Through this initiative, SFM reaffirms its commitment to more efficient and accessible mobility, especially during events that attract large numbers of people and generate increased travel demand.
